Cassie Rouse

I have been in the animal care industry for over 20 years, starting as a trainee veterinary nurse.  I completed my training and gained RVN status in 2001.  Since then I have progressed to include roles as Nursing Manager, Head Nurse and Branch Manager for a range of practices within the IVC group.  I have been at Northside for over a year now and have the responsibility of running the Out of Hours Care team.  My reasons for wanting to be at Northside is that I wanted experience of emergency care and the opportunity to do further work with more unusual cases.

My principal interests are laboratory work and radiography when it comes to animals as well as the management aspect of running the team.  Despite my partner's protests I have taken my work home with me as I currently have three rescue dogs and three rescue cats.  And yes they do all get along!
